This amazing eyeshadow and blush compact can be opened or closed. The tiny hinge will allow you to find perfect angle for the mirror to reflect the palette. I designed this palette with super tight tolerances so you can barely see the seam between the lid and the base when the compact is closed. A little tab on the lid and a divot on the base makes it easy to open.
